Cookie Policy

How and why Velto uses cookies and similar technologies on velto.ai, and how you can manage your preferences.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit. Similar technologies include pixels and local storage, which work in comparable ways.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies on the velto.ai website for the following purposes:

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the website to function. They cannot be disabled. They include cookies that enable secure browsing and basic site functionality.

Functional

These cookies allow us to remember your preferences and customise your experience on return visits, such as language settings.

Analytics

We may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website, which pages are most visited, and how users navigate our content. This helps us improve the site. Analytics data is collected in aggregated, anonymised form where possible.

None of it loads unless you agree. Nothing is measured until you choose Fine on the cookie notice, and choosing Turn it off means nothing is loaded at all.

If you agree, we use Google Analytics to count visits and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used. Clarity produces heat maps showing where people tap and scroll, and records a replay of the session so we can see where a page confuses people. Clarity masks the text you type into forms by default, so what you enter into a form is not recorded. You can withdraw this at any time by clearing your choice, and neither tool runs again until you agree afresh.

Service operations

Where you engage with us for services, we may use cookies to facilitate session management, payment processing and account access.

3. Third party cookies

Some cookies on our website may be set by third party services we use, such as analytics or payment providers. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control these cookies directly.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete existing cookies, and set preferences for specific websites. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

For guidance on managing cookies in common browsers, visit allaboutcookies.org.

5. Contact

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at info@velto.co.uk or write to us at 1a Marsland Chambers, Marsland Road, Sale M33 3HP.
